"The project was targeted at the investigation and development of elimination of ammonia in poultry and pig stables. The aim of the project was to increase the product efficiency and improve the state of health of animals and also reduce the amount of the ammonia emission to the atmosphere.As ammonia sorbents were used humic substances - oxihumolits. In Czech Republic there are major deposits of oxihumolites in the North-Bohemian coal fields. The investigation of sorption properties of oxihumolites from three deposits (Duchcov, Vr\u0161any and Sokolov) was performed. The oxihumolit from Duchcov was the best and was used for preparation of the sorbent that was applied in the pilot test in the broiler stable. It was proved that the use of sorbent caused the lower level of aerial ammonia and higher average mass of broilers. The laboratory tests proved the positive influence of the leach of the sorbent saturated with ammonia on the shooting of the seeds of white mustard and the roots growing stimulation."@en . . .
