"Knowledge of patients about oral single-component OTC preparations containing ibuprofen, bought for their own use, was evaluated in relation to the manner of the process of communication between the pharmacist (pharmacy assistant) - patient during the supply in the pharmacy. Nearly 85 % of respondents consider information gained from the pharmacy to be sufficient, altough the knowledge of contraindications and side effects is 32 % (when bought first time), and 60 % (when bought repeatedly). 40 % of patients do not use the opportunity to ask for information and 45 % of pharmacists (pharm. assistants) do not identify whether the patient have already used the preparation before."@en .
