"The aims of study were to choose conditioning regimen based on combination of chlorambucil + fludarabine and to test nonmyeloablative conditioning based on this combination as a preparative regimen for BMT. We have chosen F-CH regimen (fludarabine 3 mg/kg for 5 days followed by 4 mg/kg of chlorambucil for 5 days) as conditioning. Pneumo-, nephro-, gastrointestinal-, and myelotoxicity were seen. Semiallogeneic BMT was carried out between LEW rats (donors) and BNxLEW rats (recipients), allogeneic BMT between LEW rats (donors) and BN rats (recipients). Experimental animals were treated by F-CH regimen, control animals by TBI. Clinical stage of animals undergone semiallogeneic BMT after F-CH regimen was only slightly affected. Leukopenia and lymphopenia were significantly milder in comparison with TBI group. Chimerism was 0 %. Similar results were achieved in group with allogeneic BMT after F-CH."@en . .
