"The study is focused on side effects detection during one week application of meloxicam in pigs. Twenty healthy miniature pigs were divided into 2 groups - MEL and CON, each by 10\u00A0animals. In all animals blood and urine analysis were performed. Thereafter was during 7 days (once a day) in MEL group intramuscularly applied meloxicam (0,1 mg/kg) and in CON group saline. During this period presence of side effects were clinically detected. After 7 days in all animals blood and urine analysis were performed again. During observation-period diarrhea in 1 animal of CON group was detected. No another side effects in both groups were observed. In hematological profile no changes were detected. In MEL group thrombin time (p\u00A0<\u00A00,05) was prolonged. No variation in blood biochemistry in both group was detected.
