Arachidonic acid content (AA) significantly decnot changed in TM of either sex. Polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFA) n-6 to n-3 ratio in females was not influenced by age in BM (P>0.05), but significantly (P<0.001) decreased with increasing age in TM. Opposite results were found in male tissues: indepesignificant (P<0.001) increase in BM.
