"In trial with fast growing cockerels of hybrid combination Ross 208 (FG) and slow growing (SG) hybrids Isa Brown, basic production parameters and content of dry matter, protein and fat in the breast and thigh meat were investigated in the course of fattethe 18th week. Chickens were fed a mixture containing high level of crude protein. In FG group, changes in the content of dry matter, protein and fat in the breast meat, and dry matter and fat in thigh meat were not significant (P>0.05), the content of p(P<0.01) with the age. In SG group significantly (P<0.01) increased content of dry matter and fat in breast meat, other values did not changed. In FG chickens, the weight of breast and thigh meat and the protein content in the breast and thigh meat incrby 18; 13; 26; and 14 % faster and the growth of the fat content in breast meat of FG and SG groups slower by 16 and 30 % than their live body weight, respectively.
