"The aim of this study was to assess the effect of the rootstock variety on contents of potassium (K) and magnesium (Mg) and on the ratio of these elements in leaf petioles in a new resistant grapevine variety 'Cerason'. In the phenological stage BBCH 85, the lowest K:Mg ratio was found in rootstocks Amos (0.53) and K1xSO4 (0.35). Symptoms of potassium deficiency were obvious in the rootstock Amos. Values close to an optimum were recorded in rootstocks B\u00F6rner (2.62), Teleki 5C (2.58), Craciunel 2 (1.98) and Kober 125AA (1.94). As far as the intake of nutrients is concerned, the choice of a suitable rootstock plays a very important role. The obtained results indicate that from the viewpoint of intake of these two nutrients, rootstocks B\u00F6rner, Teleki 5C, Craciunel 2 and Kober 125 AA are the most suitable ones."@en . . .
