Warming leads to a particularly significant development of grape powdery mildew (Erysiphe necator). Grapevine varieties with improved resistance to fungal diseases are becoming therefore increasingly important. The first grapevine variety of this type registered in the Czech Republic was Malverina. Malverina is variety for white wine production. Evaluation of qualitative and quantitative parameters taking place in Lednice na Morav\u011B in 2005-2009. Malverina showed better yield than Riesling. In terms of quality was observed lower sugar content, but also lower titratable acidity, in comparison with Riesling. Lower titratable acids are positive signs of quality. Evaluation of resistance to fungal pathogens take place in the period 1996-2003, in vineyard without pesticide treatment. Malverina was compared with their parental varieties. Maverina has good resistance to fungal pathogens, higher yield and good quality parameters of grape.
