"The desertification and aridization were defined as complementary environmental processes specifically. Aridization is a process about long-term drying-out of arid regions. Desertification is realize as desert spreading in arid regions. It is the extreme case of aridization which is presented in relation to antropogenic degradation in steppe and/or semi-desert inland landscapes. Ecotones between desert and another biome are the most exposed to desertification. Mongolia includes large areas potentially damaged by desertification. Paleoclimatic reconstructions and measured data were evaluated to analysis of present desertification intensity. The evaluation results that desertification impacts are different in relation to different geographic position of the selected region. At the present time temperature global changes influencing evaporation and desication can induce more changes in desert spreading. The observed deviations in precipitation have not any negative effect in present desertification. Thei" .
