However, the current percentage of losses in regeneration is alarmingly increasing (with losses after first regeneration reaching up to 60% in the mid-1990s), stand vitality is decreasing and the percentage of incidental felling of dying trees increasing (with incidental fellings representing up to 80% of total volume felled in some forest properties).
