On average, the studied spruce stand before thinning intercepted 50% precipitation (amplitude 37%). Decrease in stand density resulted in the decrease of average interception by 10% (interception after thinning 40% atmospheric precipitation) at the simultaneous increasing the amplitude of values of interception losses (amplitude 46%) and decrease in the value of interception for particular cases.
