The qualitative parameters (starch content, table quality and colour changes of raw and cooked tubers) were also evaluated. The hectare yield was influenced by variety, but not with the length of maturity. The highest yield was reached by variety Barbora and the lowest by variety Ke\u0159kovsk\u00E9 rohl\u00ED\u010Dky. Starch content of almost all varieties was in recommended limits for food potatoes. The differences in table quality were very small and all varieties met the limits for food potatoes.
