"The work is focused on the values of basal respiration of soils in Central Moravia. Samples were collected from two depths, topsoil (0-0.30 m), subsoil (0.30-0.60 m). In the topsoil the average value is 0.71 mg CO2/100g/h. In the subsoil the average value is 0.58 mg CO2/100g/h. By comparing the values of basal respiration in the topsoil and in the subsoil highly statistically significant difference was found between these two sampling depths."@en . . .
