"The collection of 24 genotypes of wheat (Triticum aestivum L., 2n = 6x = 42, BBAADD) and one genotype Thinopyrum ponticum (Podp.) Barkworth & D. R. Dewey (2n = 10x = 70, JJJJJJJsJsJsJs) was studied using the SSR method. We analysed genetic variability of wheat genotypes with purple pericarp, blue aleurone, yellow endosperm and red pericarp. SSR markers localized on chromosomes of A and B genome were chosen from the literature for the analysis. Based on 20 SSR markers a dendrogram was calculated, which highly significantly differentiates the genotype Thinopyrum ponticum. The 3 genotypes with purple pericarp and 1 genotype with blue aleuron showed a higher variability than remaining 20 genotypes. The bigger cluster is split into 2 subclusters. The minor subcluster contained only genotypes with blue aleuron layer. Among these genotypes was confirmed high similarity of 2 blue aleuron genotypes that are supposed to be the same genotypes of different origin. Isogenic line of red pericarp wheat and the line of yellow endosperm genotypes are gathered in the bigger subcluster. Used SSR markers can be applied for the detection of the variability and/or purity of the analysed genotypes in breeding programs.
