"Herbicide efficacy of two different active ingredients was measured by PS1-meter on redroot pigweed (Amaranthus retroflexus) in pot experiment. There were used herbicides CALLISTO 480 SC (mesotrione, group of triketons) + ATPLUS 463 (surfactant) in three doses (0.25 -- 0.1875 a 0.1250 l.ha-1) and herbicide BASAGRAN SUPER (bentazone, group of photosynthesis inhibitors) in three doses (2.0 -- 1.5 -- 1.0 l.ha-1). The obtained results showed that dose 0.125 l.ha-1 by herbicide CALLISTO 480 SC and 1.0 l.ha-1 by BASAGRAN SUPER had the same herbicide efficacy as registered dose. The statistically significant differences between herbicide doses were not found in any measurements after treatment (1, 4, 6, and 8 days after treatment). The differences by dry aboveground matter of weeds which assessed herbicide efficacy were not statistically different as well. PS1-meter is a good tool for measurement herbicide efficacy by herbicide BASAGRAN SUPER and CALLISTO 480 SC + ATPLUS 463 a few days after treatment."@en . . "Z(MSM 432100001)" . .
