At the theoretical level it is based on the principles of destination management which is a set of techniques and tools that serve for managing a tourist destination. In individual areas this activity is conducted by organizations of tourism (OCR) that coordinate, plan and organize, decide and regulate tourism for the purpose of reaching its sustainable development and maintaining its competitiveness on the market. The contribution of this paper lies in the analysis of a contemporary level of organizing tourism in the Czech Republic and the suggestion of a model for its efficient management.
