In nine specific plantar areas we studied the functional parameters in relation with the foot type and rearfoot position with respect to side and intersexual differences. We found out high incidence of high arched foot type in males and females probably caused by their sportive way of life. The most loaded area of the foot is the middle part of the forefoot, on the other side the least loaded is the midfoot region.
