The first survey focuses on the area of disturbed non-verbal communication in individuals with autistic spectrum disorders and targets analysis of the particular deficits in a selected group of children with ASD, as well as the reflection of this issue from the point of view of speech therapists working in schools and healthcare departments. The following research is aimed at analysing auditory agnosia in clients with the Asperger syndrome and a questionnaire was preferred as the primary method of data collection, distributed to clinical speech therapists. An integral part comprises essays covering manual (pseudo-non-verbal) communication in individuals with hearing impairment and the detection of language feeling in respondents with developmental dysphasia attending the first to fifth classes of a primary school. Subsequent comparative study maps out the degree of sentence repetition and solution of mathematical problems in pupils attending a speech-therapy school compared to pupils attending a regular primary school. The last chapter covers a specific area - voice disorders in voice professionals. The individual chapters are divided into theoretical background, followed by the actual research and conclude with the outcomes and emphasis on the problem areas outlining possible solutions."@en .
