"The paper aims to highlight the issue associated with the end of compulsory education for pupils with learning disabilities in special school in connection with their transfer to other related social services - long-term care homes for people with disabilities, day care centers and weekly day service centers. In the context of this issue it was realized research in Olomouck\u00FD and Moravskoslezsk\u00FD region focused on the current situation. Partial research questions concerned the finding of mutual cooperation between the special schools and social services providers, the importance of school documentation (pupil's certificates) as a possible source of important information in the process of individual planning in the future.
