Each application field of colloidal particles has specific requirements with respect to their specific properties and structures. One of the most important properties of silver colloidal particles is their zeta potential which provides information of their surface charge. In many cases it is desirable to controll the surfacial charge, this goal can be achieved e.g. by adsorption of surface active agents.
