"The conducted research was aimed at experimental study of influence pH, temperature, and the sodium aluminate dosing rate on the quality surface treatment of titanium dioxide produced by the company Precheza a.s. In addition, an additional study was conducted for various types of modifiers from the group of organic compounds having hydroxyl or carboxyl functional group, and combinations thereof (e.g., citric acid, glycerol) to the quality of surface treatment carried out based on the hydrolysis of sodium aluminate in terms of basic process parameters of evaluation of the final product in the company Precheza a.s. At the same time the research aimed at evaluation of quality of the realized surface treatment using fractal dimension method was realized. The evaluation of the quality of the surface treatment was realized also using method of specific adsorption of acidic and basic gases on the surface o pigment particles.
