"The book %22Harmonization of Work and Family Roles of Employees Caring for Children%22 deals with one the key problems of employed parents, work and simultaneously care for child. The book is divided into four main parts. The first chapter defines social rights guaranteeing protection of employed parents and employed women in connection with childbirth and pregnancy in the fundamental law of the Czech Republic and in international agreements to which the Czech Republic is bound. The second chapter is devoted to the working conditions of employees and the specific working conditions of pregnant employees and employees - mothers and mothers caring for children who require special assistance and protection at work. The individual operating conditions are then analyzed not only with requirement to protect health workers, but mainly due to the appropriate reconciliation of professional and personal lives of employees with children. In this chapter we deal with the prohibition of work for women (pregnant women, lactating mothers after childbirth), under which we reflect on the conflict of the right to free choice of profession and the right to health at the Institute of ban on overtime and night work. In the third chapter, the parental allowance, the historical background of its inclusion in the legal system , develop the requirements for entitlement to the current form, which includes several new elements conducive to families with children adjust the amount of the monthly allowance benefits according to specific needs and current situation in the family are discussed. The last chapter is focused on the family-friendly measures, which beside the favorable employment conditions and adequate material support for working parents should allow appropriate balance work and family responsibilities.
