During the 12th and 13th centuries, the so-called Aetas Ovidiana of Traube, the French city of Orl\u00E9ans was the centre of Ovidian studies. From the existing commentaries we can see that three Orl\u00E9ans masters had above all influence on the commentary reception of Ovid: Arnulf %22The Red%22 (ca. 1170), Fulco (ca. 1180) and William of Orl\u00E9ans (ca. 1200). On the example of the myth of Jason and his wives Hypsipyle, Medea and Creusa the paper treats this reception. Arnulf seems to have had most influence on the allegorical reception, Fulco concentrated himself on literal commenting and William with grammar.
