"This work gives a new angle on the problematics of food hygiene. Foodstufts are studied as possible vehicie that spread bacterial strains with dangerous resistance range into food chain of a man. Results of this study characterize resistance to antimicrobial foodstuffs in 283 strains of Escherichia coli, Staphylococus spp. and Enterococcus spp. isolated from foodstuffs of animal origin (milk and meat products). Resistance of isolates of Staphylococcus sp.. to penicillin reached 48.8 %. Numerous was a resistance to erythromycine (19 % in Staphylococcus spp., 30.7 % in Enterococcus spp.). Higher frequency of isolates resistant to tetracycline was proved in E. coli (50 %) then in Enterococcus spp. 28 %) and Staphylococcus spp. (22.6 %). In one coagulase-negative strain Staphylococcus spp. with resistance to erythromycine hat been proved inducible type of resistance to clindamycine too (iMLSB phenotype).
