"The paper presents the results of two laboratory tests of discontinuous high-solids anaerobic digestion of straw-manure mixtures from a biogas station Pust\u011Bjov. Tests were carried out on simple reaction containers of the volume 30 dm3. The aim of the tests was to compare the intensities of biogas and methane production at different total solids contents. The batch for the first test (model SF1) contained only straw-manure mixtures with total solids equalled to 21.4 % wt. The batch for the second test (model SF2) was consisted of straw-manure mixtures which were diluted with beef cattle slurry to the total solids equalled to 18 % wt. Tests were performed without any recirculation of liquid fraction (percolate). In the first test, the intensity of biogas production was 0.550 mN3.m3.d-1 (related to 1 m3 as the total volume of digester) and the intensity of methane production was 0.274 mN3.m3.d-1. At the second test, the intensity of biogas production was 0.565 mN3.m3.d-1 and the intensity of methane production was 0.281 mN3.m3.d-1. Ongoing process at lower dry matter was characterized by higher production of biogas and methane. Especially during this test, the specific methane production 0.236 mN3.kgVS-1 was reached. The results were used to design a new mobile technology of high-solids anaerobic digestion in a horizontal bag."@en . "Discontinuous High-Solids Anaerobic Digestion of Straw-Manure Mixtures"@en .
