"Authors want to determine the usage area of PLC - Programmable Logic Controllers, in terms of education of programming controlling systems, elements of control systems and corresponding subjects. We are going to show possibilities ofPLC usage in the area ofdevelopment and at control algorithm research, especiallyfor technologies that are vety dfficult to use for direct experiments in real plants. We would like to focus on connection of PLC with other modern simulation and visualization systems, including usage of virtualization and simulators of creation of technological devices. PLC is used as for the simple autonomous control of the dilferent technological nodes, in which simple compact systems can be applied both for the control of large technological complexes using distributed control systems together with the monitoring, and for collecting the data. Knowledge of PLCs, their construction, programming and applications is very useful for students of study program %22Economics and management of industrial systems%22. The teaching of programming of control systems is aimed in particular on the ofareashardwarel/Osignals,basicprogramminginaccordancewithlEC61 131-3,realizationoftheregulatory and control algorithms, formulation of the objectives of control and algorithm of controlling processes using behavior model expressed by Petri network and its expression in a program written in the language of GRAFCET \u00FDpe.
