"In case of steel 42CrMo4 the value of activation energy was determined on the basis of data obtained by torsion tests and uniaxial compression tests performed under analogical deformation conditions. Mathematical processing of experimental data confirmed an outstanding agreement of activation energy and of other material constants, calculated from the results of both tests. However, when the necessary regression analyses were applied to a simplified power relation between the strain rate and peak stress, and not to the complex sinus-hyperbolic relation, accuracy of the resulting model of peak stress was significantly worse."@en .
