On the other hand, product life cycles become shorter and combined together in means that also many industrial products, such as cars, belong to consumer goods. While many modern control methods and related technologies have already been successfully applied in management of customer oriented logistic flows, solving of reverse flows of depreciated, worn or morally obsolete products is still neglected. In the last few years, the prices of all input resources for production of non-ferrous metal rose significantly. Defective or discarded products include big amount of potentially usable resources. Reverse flows for collection, assortment and processing of these material resources not yet been suitably set up. Many discarded products end at a dump with no further utilization.
