"Steels with the effect of transformation induced plasticity (TRIP) is a promising material in the automotive industry and is among a group of high-strength steels AHSS (Advanced High Strength Steels). They have good strength properties and exhibit excellent cold forming elongation. During plastic deformation of TRIP steels is the transformation of austenite to strain-induced martensite, which contributes significantly to the overall strengthening of the material. To achieve the appropriate technological and mechanical properties is necessary to optimize all parameters, especially the chemical composition, initial microstructure and heat treatment, which shares shall be adjusted appropriately stabilizes the austenite phase and the TRIP effect.
