"Using photometric method the equilibrium of methylene blue (MB) in acid aqueous solutions was studied and percentages of protonated dye cations (MBH2+) and other forms of methylene blue were calculated for various acid aqueous solutions. The methylene blue with different proportion of MB+, MBnn+ and MBH2+ cations presents in acid aqueous solutions was intercalated into SAz - montmorillonite and adsorption curves of total dye adsorption were evaluated. For the determination of the total amount of MB dye in aqueous solutions the vis - photometry was used. Calibration curves were prepared for related acidity of aqueous dye solutions at wavelengths 660 nm (for MB+) and 745 nm (for MBH2+). By this way two indenpendent results for total dye concentration in aqueous solutions were obtained. It was found that adsorption curves determined in acid aqueous solutions differ from that one determined in neutral aqueous solution. The adsorption curves determined in acid aqueous solutions consist of two wawes. sampl" . . "Pustková, Petra" . . . . "Čapková, Pavla" . "P(GA205/08/0869), Z(MSM6198910016)" .
