"Blast furnace dust contains more than 40 per cent Fe, but recycling of dust is not possible due to a high content of volatile metals, namely Zn (about 3 %) and Pb (about 1 %).It was found by means of the chemical speciation that more than 70 %of Zn and 50 % of Pb is present in the material in easily leachable forms.Dynamic leaching with the diluted acids was applied to verify these results.
