"There are described results of operational experiments done in electro-steelwork \u017D\u010EAS, a.s. in the paper. When evaluating the influence of the secondary metallurgy procedures on steel cleanliness the study was aimed on evaluation of cleanliness of steel produced at following technological procedures: 1) EAF - LF - VD procedure - casting, 2) EAF - LF - casting, 3) EAF - casting, when the steel was successively cast into ingots at atmospheric pressure and into ingots in vacuum caisson. The paper was aimedat tracing the differences in micro-cleanliness, steels given by values K1, K2, K3, K4(to DIN 50 602) and gas content.
