"The result is the map of area distribution of Fe in the dust on roads in Ostrava region created on the basis of 250 samples. The minimum concentration of Fe in grain size below 0.063 mm is 1.70 %, maximum concentration is 24.22 %, the mean value \u2013 geochemical background is 4.86 % and value of standard deviation is 2.56 %. The value of threshold of geochemical anomaly is 9.98 %. The concentration of Fe in grain size fraction under 0.063 mm is comparable with concentrations in the grain size fraction under 2 mm. The values higher than threshold of geochemical anomaly (mean value + 2 \u03C3) occupy approximately 5 % of sampled territory. Anomalous concentrations are located in the territory of Slezsk\u00E1 Ostrava, Radvanice and \u0160enov.
