"Modern control methods of AC controlled drives with asynchronous motor bring new knowledge and solve prob-lems in the industrial electronics applications area. It is necessary to implement the required load type to verify the properties of AC controlled drives in various modes. It can be simulated by an active load. The paper deals with active load unit solution with induction motor drive. The simplified structure of vector control of the induction motor was used to control the torque generated by the active load. The control algorithms of the vector control are implemented in the microcomputer control system with digital signal processor TMS320F28335, which allows rapid and dynamic change of load torque. The paper presents the structure of active load control unit, a description of control algorithms, simulation and experimental results of the AC controlled drive with induction motor."@en . .
