Basic running and fault states of wind power plants were described within the first period project's processing. The physical model of small wind power plant with squirrel cage generator was used for determination voltage and current conditions at running wind power plant. The program EMTP-ATP was used as a support for measuring, the model of squirrel cage induction generator was created in preprocessor ATPDraw. The model was verified for case separately working generator and for case cooperation with distribution network. Presently, the possibility of using frequency converter for the small-power generator of wind power plant is analyzed.
