The high cost is caused by the repeating solution of the problems similar to the state problem for each design variable. Therefore it was proposed so called semi-analytical method which reuses the same stiffness matrix during sensitivity analysis changing only load vector and the constraints in the case of contact shape optimization problems. The FETI methods adopted to the solution of variational inequalities turn out to be very efficient for the solution of such the problems. The standard FETI requires effective identification of the free rigid body modes of the subdomains. We propose Total FETI algorithm which prescribes also the Dirichlet boundary conditions by the Lagrange multipliers, so that it each subdomain has the same, a priori known rigid body modes."@en .
