"Technological design (TD) of metal forming consists predicting metal flow, forces and stresses and establishing the limits of workability controlling number of forming steps. The first two items of TD are solved using Finite Element Method (FEM). Workability can be considered to consist of two independent parts ? State of Stress (SOS) workability and Intrinsic Workability (IW). Criteria of SOS workability are included into commercial FEM systems, yet whereas IW criteria be lacking in there. Then evaluation of intrinsic workability (IW) using methods compatible with FEM is necessary, too. Prasad and co-workers have created Dynamic Material Model (DMM). Rajagopalachary and Kutumbarao have expanded DMM to describe of IW for materials strengthened by warm working in Polar Reciprocity Model (PRM).
