This mechanism is intended for application in mobile robotics as a device for video data acquisition and it is a part of the whole visual system that arranges video transmission to the operator?s 3D stereovision glasses. Besides the design of kinematic structure and mechanical construction of the mechanism, also a control system for the device was developed. The device was then physically realized and the device control system was connected with the mobile robot?s control system via serial RS232.
