"Autor deals with possibilities of productivity of labour at preparation and investigation of properties of high-purity and structurally defined special materials.On the example of equipment of laboratory by plasma furnace with horizontal mold, which produces continuously cast ingot, the cross section and lenght of which is not defined and it is thus impossible to produce material samples directly from it, there is proposed an equipment based on vertical mold, which enables production of continuously cast ingots with specific cross section. Continuously cast ingot of defined shape could be then immediately processed by heat treatment and other technological processes, such as forming, etc. The proposed equipment will enable also heating and heat treatment of supplied or freshly cast ingots. Equipment comprises plasma furnace with vertical mold, which is charged by adjusted continuously cast ingot from the existing plasma furnace with horizontal mold.
