For objective evaluation of stress and strain by deformation networks the separate elements of deformation network on stampings must be precisely measured. With regard to the fact, that the elements appears also on round and curved surfaces, its accurate measurement is difficult. In contribution the special gauge for measurement of lengths on curved surfaces, which was constructed by the author, is fully described. By the use of this gauge it is possible to measure the lengths on curved surfaces with accuracy of 0,01 mm.
