"The chapter deals with two Baroque pilgrimage books devoted to pilgramage place at the Kotouč hill in Štramberk. Cultural and religious life in North-Eastern Moravia was bilingulal in those times a nd therefore both Czech work (Matěj Tanner: Hora Olivetská) and the German one (Bartoloměj Christelius: Via Olivetana) were created. Both authors were important Jesuit writers. Spirituality of the Jesuits with elements of mysticism and ascetism can be seen in these works. Special attention is paid to literary character of the Czech book consisting of historical passages, songs, prayers, meditations and litanies. It also describes the original Baroque route of the pilgrimage, seriously damaged now."@en . . "Malura, Jan" . "Městský úřad" .
