"Mechanical alloying is a process in which the formation of solid solutions or compounds during high energy milling. During the process are mechanically interconnecting particles plastic deformation and simultaneous cleavage resulting particles. The kinetic energy imparted by the milled powder also causes local heating. This will occur among other conditions for the formation of intermetallic compounds, including those of metastable, otherwise at ordinary metallurgical operations (melting, casting, heat treating, etc..) arises.
