The kinetics of the process of gasification in plasma flow is analyzed on the basis of solution of equations of heat transfer from plasma to particles and the Arhenius equation describing volatilization process of wood. Relations between particle size, reaction temperature and gasification rate are analyzed. It is shown that gasification of wood in steam plasma generated in hybrid water/argon plasma torch provides high process efficiency and production of syngas with optimum composition." . .
