"It is known that ionizing radiation can positively or negatively influence catalytic effects. In titania photocatalysts, these effects have not been thoroughly studied yet. Therefore, our research was focused on an exploratory study of gamma radiation effects on these systems. Titania samples having rutile and anatase structure were studied, and their photocatalytic effect on degradation and color changes of organic indicators after exposure to 360 nm UV radiation was determined. The effect of UV exposure was evaluated by measuring the DE* and YIE parameters using a Color Quest XE (Hunter Lab, USA) instrument.
