"We have successfully prepared samples of bulk heterojunction organic solar cells based both on P3HT:ThCBM[60] and P3HT:ThCBM[70] mixtures and report on a comparative study of their photoelectric properties in the as-prepared state and after step-wise thermal annealing in the range of 80-180 \u00B0C. Thermal annealing is found to be a key step in attaining high efficiency of our cells, similarly as in the already studied case of P3HT:PCBM mixtures. We use the Fourier Transform Photocurrent Spectroscopy (FTPS) to study the optical absorption processes connected with the collection of free photo-generated charge carriers, in the 0.8-2.8 eV spectral range. FTPS spectra of complete solar cells are complemented with current-voltage characteristics, both in dark and under illumination, and with UV-VIS absorbance spectra of the active layer alone, undergoing identical annealing steps as the whole cell."@en .
