"The studied phonolites and alkali trachytes, as the end-member rocks of Tertiary volcanic series, are spatially connected with the Oh\u0159e (Eger) rift at the northwest part of the Bohemian Massif. Mineralogical criteria and common geochemistry are often insufficient to distinguish the anomalous agpaitic types of phonolite with the Zr-Ti-bearing accessory minerals, e.g. F-eudialite, hainite, titanoniobates, etc. Especially the distribution patterns of the rare earth elements (REE) and Zr-Ti in such felsic rocks (anomalous phonolites and tinguaites) are of prime importance in determining a wider spectrum of incompatible trace elements, mainly REE, Zr, Hf, Th, Nb, Ta, Th, U, and some others. During fractional crystallization of parent magma, the evolved felsic magma is continuously enriched in alkaline and volatile elements (F, Cl, S), CO2 and H2O, and extracts the incompatible elements from residual magma fluids during crystallization of rock-forming minerals."@en . .
