"We review our recent results on the photodissociation of hydrogen bonded clusters. They are generated in supersonic expansion and subsequently photolyzed. Hydrogen atoms leaving the clusters are detected and the kinetic energy distributions (KEDs) of these outgoing fragments are determined. In the KED spectra, we distinguish three regimes with an increasing kinetic energy: those products which are slowed down by the cluster cage, those which leave it unperturbed and those which gain energy in processes following primary photodissociation. We have analyzed the shapes of the kinetic energy spectra and identified important reaction channels. Our experiments are accompanied and interpreted with theoretical calculations which are based on state-of the-art ab initio methods,"@en . "978-0-470-66677-7" . "Chichester" . "1"^^ . .
