The pilot unit was installed at nitric acid plant KD7 \u2013 BC BorsodChem - MCHZ, Ostrava in 2009. The unit is composed of two sections with reactors with catalytic beds each of 80 l, a heat exchanger for electrical heating and a heat exchanger for cooling and mixer unit for ammonia dosing. The installation forms unit of 8.5 m high, which enables operation of two catalytic processes at independent temperatures and total flow of 100 -1000 m3/hod.
