Since the absorption cross-section is known, the decay of the H-3(+)(upsilon = 0) number density and hence, the recombination coefficient can be deduced. At hydrogen number densities [H-2] = 1 x 10(14) to 8 x 10(14) cm(-3) the measured recombination rate coefficient was found to be alpha = (1.6 +/- 0.6) x 10(-7) cm(3) s(-1)."@en . .
