"In the yearbook Education at Glance published by the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) annually considerable attention is the recently devoted to economic indicators which are associated with the level of educational attainment. These indicators allow comparisons to OECD countries in terms of both economic profits from achieving the level of education, as well as in terms of economic cost which are associated with educational achievement. Selected indicators from the yearbook were used for the project RELIK (Reproduction of Human Capital) whereas we focused on the influence of education on the employment and unemployment rate, the amount of earnings benefits arising from the achievement of tertiary education and the labour costs for workers with tertiary education and the labour costs to experienced and inexperienced workers.
